How to request removal of your data from Hivemind
Your Right to Data Deletion
At Hivemind, we respect your right to control your data. If you have used our services and wish to have your data deleted from our systems, we will honor your request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection regulations.
What Data We May Have
If you have authorized Hivemind to manage your Meta assets (Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, or ad accounts), we may have stored the following information:
- Access tokens used to manage your accounts (encrypted)
- Page IDs, Instagram account IDs, and ad account IDs
- Performance metrics and engagement data from your accounts
- Content we created or published on your behalf
- Contact and business information you provided during onboarding
- Communication history related to our services
How to Request Data Deletion
Revoke Hivemind's Access (Recommended First Step)
To immediately stop Hivemind from accessing your Meta accounts, revoke our access through your Meta Business Settings:
- Go to Meta Business Settings
- Navigate to "Business Settings" → "Users" → "System Users" or "Apps"
- Find Hivemind in the list of connected apps or partners
- Click to revoke or remove access
This stops future access immediately but does not delete data already stored in our systems. Continue to Step 2 for complete data deletion.
Send a Data Deletion Request
Email us to request complete deletion of your data from our systems:
Subject: Data Deletion Request
In your email, please include:
- Your name and business name
- The email address associated with your Hivemind account
- The Facebook Page names or Instagram account handles that were connected
- Confirmation that you want all data deleted
Receive Confirmation
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
Upon processing your deletion request, we will remove:
- Access tokens and credentials
- Account identifiers and connections
- Performance data and analytics
- Content drafts and scheduled posts
- Communication logs
- Contact information
- Billing records (required by law)
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics
- Data in backups (deleted within 90 days)
- Records needed for legal compliance
Timeline
30-Day Completion Window
We will complete your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. Most requests are processed within 7-14 days.
